I was tasked to take an everyday object and abstract it. I chose to take a stick of deodorant, but rather it smell good and be useful, it is made of trash. This was also made to comment on Larry Nassar and his abuse of the United States Olympic Gymnastics team. He was supposed to help the gymnasts, just like deodorant helps us smell good, but instead he damaged them just like the trash deodorant does not perform the task as it should.
